Planning a wedding
To assist you with understanding some of the requirements for a wedding ceremony, you do need to know these things:
- at least one (1) months notice must be given prior to your chosen ceremony date. The completion of a NOIM is required with the celebrant.
- you must have two witnesses at your ceremony (both over 18 years of age and able to comprehend English)
- there are two legal requirements that must be said during your ceremony - non negotiable.
- following your ceremony, after the submission of all legal paperwork (by celebrant) you need to apply to Births, Deaths and Marriages for a legal copy of your marriage certificate to assist with name changing (if required)
You can choose any type of ceremony, in any location. Your ceremony should represent your relationship. Julie offers a number of different wedding packages.
All ceremonies are as individual as YOU, written and planned for YOU!

who is julie?
a little about Julie
Throughout our lives we have occasions to celebrate life achievements - births, engagements, birthdays, marriages, memorials, funerals - just to name a few!
Julie is passionate about celebrating these occasions and helping people achieve a ceremony that fits who they are. Celebrating the journey along the way is part of the rituals and milestones we are able to enjoy. Life is a journey that we all experience in different ways.
Julie believes love is a precious gift and deserves to be celebrated.
The experience Julie has gained through her career to date, has helped to develop the well rounded skills she has formed.
Her career has covered a variety of areas:
• Banking Sector
• The Salvation Army
• Medical Practice Manager
Julie has volunteered for a number of community organisations:
• the Red Shield Appeal for over the 20 years
(including the steering committee)
• Along with her husband, Julie ran a homeless program for people living rough along the Hawkesbury River for over 15 years and received the NSW Premier’s Award for this service. During this time, Julie assisted with a number of funerals and a wedding!
• Kid’s and Youth programmes
• Involvement with local netball clubs
Julie is a Mum and Grandma. She cherishes her family and loves to celebrate life with them.
She is a warm and happy, friendly and caring, calm and organised lady who enjoys a laugh but can also be serious. She offers you her full attention AND attention to detail.

Celebrant Requirements
A commonwealth authorised marriage celebrant undergoes a specialised course of study and specialist training to achieve this qualification and to become registered.
However, the training does not end once registered. Yearly professional development must be done to maintain registration.
A celebrant may conduct a range of ceremonies covering all life stages, from cradle to grave.
