Funeral Celebrant
Every person has a life story, the story of how they lived their life, their achievements and their values. As a funeral celebrant, Julie likes to learn about your person's life - who they were. She always begins by asking for a photo of your person, so that she can see who she is learning about and whose life story she will be helping to share respectfully, compassionately and authentically.
The role of a funeral celebrant is to assist you with the flow and content for the service to celebrate the life lived, recognise the grief felt and begin the healing process. When you are planning a funeral service, it helps to have someone who will listen and gently ask the questions, to write a service that is unique to your person. Julie understands that this is a difficult time, she is calm, considerate and organised. Julie feels honoured to help you through this important and emotional time.
Memorial Celebrant
Not everyone wants to arrange a full funeral service at the time of losing their person.
A memorial service allows you time.
With a memorial, you can choose a location that suits you or your person and usually takes place after the disposal of the body - cremation or burial.
A memorial service can be run anyway that you might like it to be . Julie is highly experienced with assisting memorial services and would be honoured to help you.
